Abstract

This paper proposes a new way of generating fractal sets using classic fractal sets and complex polynomial transformations. This study maps a classic fractal using a complex polynomial transformation, giving rise to a new fractal set. It is important to note that from a classic fractal, you can obtain different images that have the behavior of a fractal set, depending on the transformation used. The box count dimension method shows that the new images can be located within the Fractal Geometry since they are dimensioned fractional. This proposal generates a new class of fractal sets and opens up the possibility of new applications, considering the applications offered by classic fractal sets.
